Studying is Devotion

August 3rd, 2010

Studying means devoting enough time, effort and attention in obtaining instructions or information for a definite period of time. If you are in high school, you study to obtain information on all the subjects required in every level. If you are in college or beyond the information is restricted to a particular area of discipline. That is why when you say that you want to finish your studies, this means successfully acquiring all the instructions or information on all subjects required to complete the particular school level or course you are taking or want to take. It is serious business, not just a way of doing something all your friends and neighbors are doing or something you are expected to do. Not even studying effectively something is what you should aim at because it is your father’s or mother’s wish, or you have to look big to your friends and relatives. It is not a game, although it is fun. It becomes fun only as a reward to those who take I seriously. So you cannot be a class topnotch accidentally or conditionally. You have to really want it and exert total efforts to attain. And before you can make that kind of decision, you must confront yourself if you have everything it takes to make that giant but meritorious lead of learning as much as you can while in school. And your decision cannot be made just once but day-after-day, maybe even moment-to-moment. There will surely be many tests to the strength of your decisions from in and outside of you, and these are not classroom tests only. You should expect them but not be discouraged by them. Scholars and other successful students faced all of them. So take heart and keep a strong will.

Work

July 23rd, 2010

If you smile while you work, you’ll not feel it is work at all. Then, you’ll enjoy working all the day and be happy all the way. if you work with pleasant thoughts, you’ll feel every work is light. Then, before you know it you have done your work all right. If you sing, while you work, you’ll feel you are working fast, Then, even before you finish your song, everyone will be praising your task. If you work because of love, you’ll find a goal for your labor. And if you find that work is not here, because you love the one you are working for. If you think God while you work, you’ll offer your work to Him. And find everything pleasing, because of God’s infinite blessing.

IDEAL COUPLE

February 11th, 2010

My best friend just bought a new car for her fiancée a few years before they got married. Both of them love to travel and they get along very well. They usually go to the hotels during weekend and they love to explore all the things that they wanted to learn when it comes to love making. They enjoyed what they were doing and decided to get married. Now they have three children. My friend is so contented with his married life. He never had any affair with any woman aside from his wife. He is the type of husband that the only routine is work and home. I have witnessed how he is as a husband and father. His wife is very lucky to have him. They never argued on anything. When argument is starting to arise they will discussed it right away and resolve things in a calm and peaceful way. I admired the way they try to solve conflicts. I have never seen them quarrel. His wife is a very submissive kind of woman. She is a very loving wife and caring mother. She makes sure that all the things at home are well taken care of. She never complained and stays contented with what her husband been able to give her. The car has played a significant role in their relationship.
